Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information FigRank ("FigRank", "we") collects when you use FigRank, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it as small and simple as the Service allows.

1. What we collect

• Account details: your email address, a protected (hashed) version of your password, whether you turned on a 2-step code, and the time you created the account and last signed in.
• Early access request: the status of your request and any note you choose to write.
• What you add: the keywords, listings and shops you follow, your notes, lists and settings, and any files or numbers you import.
• Connected shop (only if you connect one): the shop name and the access tokens Etsy gives us after you approve. We store the tokens encrypted. We do not see or store your Etsy password.
• Technical data: your IP address, browser type and the times and kind of actions you take, kept in security and activity logs so we can protect accounts, stop abuse and fix problems.
• Messages: emails you send to us, and the emails we send you about your account.

2. How we use it

• to create and secure your account, sign you in and send you confirmation, password-reset and access-decision emails;
• to run the features you use and keep your lists and notes private to you;
• to apply fair daily allowances to each account;
• to protect the Service, detect abuse and keep backups;
• to answer your questions and, where you ask us to, to delete your data.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for advertising and we do not run advertising trackers.

3. Etsy data

FigRank uses Etsy's official API. Information about public listings and shops shown in FigRank comes from Etsy and belongs to Etsy and its sellers; we keep it only as long as Etsy's rules allow and refresh or delete it as those rules require. If you connect your own shop, we use the access you approve only for the features you use. You can disconnect in FigRank, and you can also remove FigRank's access in your Etsy account settings, after which we delete the stored tokens. FigRank is not affiliated with, endorsed by or certified by Etsy. "Etsy" is a trademark of Etsy, Inc.

4. Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run FigRank, under their own confidentiality and security duties:

• the hosting provider that runs our servers;
• an email delivery service for account emails;
• text-writing (AI) providers, which receive only the listing text or keywords needed to write the text you asked for, not your account details;
• Google, if you choose to sign in with Google (we receive your verified email address).

We may also disclose information when the law requires it or to protect people, the Service or our rights.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your account and data while your account is active. When you delete your account we delete your private data. Encrypted backups are kept for a limited time and then removed. Security logs are kept only as long as needed to protect the Service. If you stay inactive for a long time we may remove the account after telling you.

6. Your choices and rights

You can see and change your details in your account, turn on a 2-step code, disconnect a shop, and delete your account at any time. You can also ask us, at the contact address published on this website, to access, correct, export or delete your information, or to object to how we use it. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority. We reply as soon as we can.

7. Security

We protect the Service with encrypted connections, hashed passwords, optional 2-step codes, encrypted storage of connection tokens, private storage for each account and regular encrypted backups. No online service is completely secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

8. Where data is processed

Our servers and providers may be in different countries from you. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for transfers of personal information.

9. Children

FigRank is for businesses and people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. We will change the date at the top and, for important changes, tell you by email or in the Service.
